Intel SSD 'died'
Hi guys,

I was in the process of installing operating systems onto my Intel SSD when it appears to have 'died'.

I had created 5 partitions and installed XP on the first, SuperPI on the second, Win7 on the 3rd, and Programs on the 4th.
Then i tried to install Vista on the 5th, and while i was not at the machine it BSOD.

After reboot the machine sees the disk in BIOS, but will not recognize any of the partitions even exist, I cannot see the disk at all in Windows setup.
When plugged into a different OS/machine I can only see a single 8Mb unused partition and cannot find the rest of the space.

Any ideas how to resolve this?

a hammer might help, but the main question is why the hell are you benching with SSD that is just fail from the begining, SSD suk for benching they constantly corrupt on crashes , slower for super pi , JJJ JUNK .... lol us raptors for benching bro

Why do you say they corrupt on crashes?
What do you mean, ordinary BSOD (too high freq, too low voltage, etc...) causing the corruption, or something else?
I never had any corruption on three SF-1222 SSD's. :knocks_on_wood: Never had any corruptions either on 230/150MB SSD (don't know the controller, Indilinx?) with tweaked XP installed.

you ever benched ta over 6ghz with uncore at 4800+ with and tight rams ??
that is when **** happnes on SSD and alot of them dont like pushing the pci-e which we do alot for 3d benching ?

So aside from the commentary about SSD performance, any ideas how to fix this thing?

If you have also an Intel board with hardware encryption that might be your problem.

Any possibility to use low level format?
