ive got 4 wd 320gbs in raid5 array for personal data, i saw you mention that seagate has a higher useable gb percentage than the wd 320 drives, im getting about 890gb useable space compared to the 886gb usuable youve got from the 4 drives, doesnt make alot of sense? would raid controller come into play here? im using the sil raid5 controller on the dfi sli-dr expert... |

Nice setup there eva, I thought I was tough buying 2 of these babies and running them in raid 0, but you've just made me feel inadequate . My 2 drive raided, report a total space of 596gb, 317 sounds a bit too good to be true . Just a quick question but, where do you get your drive cages to hold all your drives, or do you just make them yourself?. Keep up the good work, Cheers |

I know what you mean, I live in Townsville . Although I've got a triple rad water cooling setup atm, but will hopefully finish my phase change set up soon .
