Just wondering, with prices as they are, would there be much difference in performance between 2 x 80GB 7K80's versus 2 x 160GB T7K250's in RAID0 (approx $85 versus $120 each). Apart from the price & capacity difference, would there be any reason to go one way or the other, ie. 7K80 or T7K250? |

16mb or 8mb cache raptors ? i think it would be close for 2 disk raid 0, raptor winning some and hitachis winning other tests. Probably better with 3x or 4x 80GB Hiatchis one more space and faster and cheaper |
