AMD 955 Black 1600mhz ram Gigabye 770T

Hi Guys,

I recently picked up a Gigabyte 770T UD3P and a 955 BE chip,

Funnily enough I installed the ram according to the manual with a slot 1 and 3 combo.

When i had the ram installed in this position I could run 1600mhz on the ram no problems, when i corrected the ram slots to slots 1 and 2 (dual channel) Windows 7 would just reboot over and over at the boot screen.

The ram itself can do 1600mhz, and the mainboard had no issues running it (in single). I did 5hrs mem test and prime in single channel however I for the life of me cant get it to boot in dual channel with 1600mhz ram.

Any suggestions?

Flash the Bios on the mobo? then check mem timings and command rate? 2T maybe?
