| By RodneyJM Ppl @ XS have had a lot of success using this board, the tweaks are the easiest ever, just one vari 20k pot, and there is miles of room for SLI, not that I'll ever use it though
The price is the best part, NO pricegouging from Tek-Corp that you normally see with new release boards |

guys I must thank Eva here for proving I was right about 1066 strap, im actually getting tired of explaining Intel overclocking to those who think it works like AMD as it plainly does not. If you are considering Conroe do your self a huge favor, get the 6700 not the 6600, you will need the 10 multi to hit the fsb's that 1066 strap will allow and the clocks the CPU will do. If you are financially loaded get the XE and shoot for a 15 multi on badaxe with the 800 strap as it surely will be real fast. 300fsb is possible but you will need real sweet memory with low latency capability. Thanks George T |

| Administrator | By ocztony No probs Tony... i still vaguely remember the bootstrap from Abit AI7/IC7 days so when you refreshed my memory with your info on the 975x straps it made more sense that a wrong upclock divider which some folks think it is.
Still an unmodded badaxe ain't bad for E6600 with 1067fsb strap and 9x421fsb |
