yeah my goal is to find 2x E8600 gems that can get as close to 5ghz 32M pi stable on H20 cooling as booj over on OCAU forum had an E8600 Q820A599 doing 5000-5050mhz 32M /3d benchable on air cooling !

yeah could be but need to do other tests for max fsb, max 3d and 32m benchable etc so extended my comparison table

thanks... my credit card taken a beating lately

latest results - 5th cpu not so great compared to others but too early to tell. My old E6850/E8500 tests showed the better prime95 capable cpus didn't do as high max FSB as the others. Wonder if E8600 will show same pattern ?

Rex says my batch codes are the same as yours so i guess i can expect similar results

looks to me like they are all 6GHz benchable as long as they can take -120C i reckon
