3 weeks later and Rex at http://pcmaniacs.com.au still has E8600 with Q820A599 batches so thought I'd go a bit crazy

All 5x E8600 are Q820A599 SLB9L 07/15/2008

WOW eva nice little collection there! My 8600 arrived its an Q820A405...

I had a question... Hipro5 said the two numbers on the bottom of the PCB correlate to how well it will usually overclock. The ending 2 numbers being closer to 0 are supposedly better clocking chips (he said numbers under 30 are what to look for)? I sure hope so since the top number ends in 20 and the bottom one in 09!

Yeah some theory about last 2 numbers but that was related to QX9650s IIRC.

Let us know how your Q820A405 does...
