Having access to MS Select licensing
A few years ago I was after a copy of visual basic and a few other MS dev apps, now one of my friends also had access to the MS Select range and said he could give me it / a licence (edu) so I awaiting one or two cd's.

Wrong , I was handed a purple / marone box with about 300+ cd's and a manual.

Turns out the disk I wanted wasnt even in the damn box

LOL yep it's a bit like that... MS do produce some seriously ***** and useless things. But I keep all the good CD's separate to all the other MS propaganda type crap.

i don't think so.....i've had more than a play and i can safely say i would stick to tweaked XP+SP2

I think for 1M win2k3 still has a slight lead, all others i.e. 32M winxp sp2 with tweaks probably fastest
