| E2200 CPU pot overclocking.
Was time to look into running the CPU pot again. Results this time were not all that pleasing as I ran into trouble with some freezing up of components. It is very humid here today and this is hard to fight against when running below -70C. All was going well until I ran into issues. Last validation I grabbed was 4340MHz, not quite a 100% OC. V.Nice OC ![]() I run a Heater on the rear (when the Vapo is not in use) ... even 5W seems to help a wee bit, plus I use the grey foam on the rear and around the socket and then some thick foam .. allow the grey to extend over the edge of the Mobo and seal to each other helps as well. .. anything to keep the air out, and here the ambients are 28-29C, lucky its winter... ![]() The grey stuff is as what is found in the thread here... should be ableto get it in Bunnings or such like but here impossible, Vince sent a truck load out a while back. |

Nothing like a bit of frost to try us out eheh..My board was like that on Saturday morning...but it is fine again now ..I gave it a good bath in shellite + Paintbrush few days ago and she looks brand new again... Tim will be happy to see you have your motherboard around the correct way ![]() i dont like those wingnuts you have on the motherboard..Maybe change to normal nuts and use wingnuts on rear side ...
