great board. i love the fact they removed onboard sound IO connectors and demoted it to a daughter board but dislike how they have such a bad layout for the last 2 slots: |

| Re: ABIT AW9D-MAX + X6800 + Vapochill LS/DIce/LN2 By eva2000 The standard BIOS that came with the board. I had a quick look for another one but had no luck. This BIOS had some issues, such as not reporting temps below 0C and having a max CPU multi of 11x.
As for the cleaning up pic, at 3:30am I called it quits but the damn thermal paste was so cold, it fused the tube to the CPU. I had to dismantle everything from the board and empty the tube while it was still attached. The nearest place to do it was in the sink |

Updated original post with BIOS pics. Got a version of the new BIOS so gunna give that a go, also, should have an LN2 dewar to borrow for the weekend so might give that a go this weekend. Turns out that for 433FSB you need around the max vMCH of 2.0v, I'm a little concerned that the PCI-ex voltages is linked to the vMCH so to get max FSB you need to feed 2.0v to the PCI-ex slot. |
