| Re: qx6700 + asus commando + cellshock c4 pc8000 testing By eva2000 Both were dissabled by default in my 0701 BIOS.
Last night temps were better, i think its heavily influenced by my room cooling being in Singapore. With the aircon in that room on, the BIOS idle was around low 40's using everything at default including cooling (100% duty cycle on CPU) and no other fans. I then added a low speed 120mm fan to pass air sideways above the CPU cooler and general area and dropped idle to 38C ![]() Sorry if you think im going too OT, but what's a normal load temp for a stock 8800GTX? |

Last night with both running in SLI at stock clocks/volts/cooling i hit 85C+ in ATITool. Any way to report temps of both cards at once though?

Perhaps NvTemp Logger T_M? I don't know as I've not got or had an SLi setup, though it's a great program for monitoring single cards, I can say that with confidence. Worth a try I guess. If you do try it, let us know how it goes |

for seeing both temps you can use nvtune monitor can show both GPUs together |

The entire cooling system on stock air is so dependent on airflow in the room. I can easily drop temps on CPU and GPU's by having a slow speed fan blowing air towards the intakes. I cant believe how warm the area around the entire mobo and components is without it!

it did 4.3ghz under a small cascade (-70c) lots of volts, 4.1ghz solid 1.7vcore under a single stage, yours should do better than that due to stepping Look forward to more results youngpro |
