Good work with the VDroop mod eva, it's cool that you give a before and after as well as mentioning what the original vs modded resistance is/was. Most guides on the subject just say 'pencil here' which isn't that helpful really... nice one mate. Is it gonna help with the max clocks you were getting on this X6800? I reckon so.I might have a crack at doing that on the Commando too, as it stands it is impossible to get any voltages between 1.63v and 1.73v due to the commedy commando bios, and I know I can get most from my chip with 1.64v+.... 1.73v is a bit much, but a vdroop mod could just push me over the edge for 1.65v. As luck would have it the VDroop mod on P5B Deluxe is identical on the Commando. |

Thanks.. I do thrive on details (yes an under statement) ![]() Going very nicely so far 3hrs 20+ minutes prime95 small ffts @3807Mhz at 1.552v! Was around 57-59C load temp at under 3hr mark, past 3hr mark seems to have jumped to 60-65C - very different from my E6600 B1 where even after 4-8+ hrs temps only rise 2-3C. |

I find sometimes when it switches test types the temps ramp up in prime, but that is a pretty surprising jump you describe there, temps are still good though aint they. |
