E6750 'G0' stepping with L710A438 batch - Malaysia plant - week 10, 2007. E6x50 vs E6x00 From what I have read and seen, the only difference these E6x50 have from their older siblings, E6x00 is that E6x50 have:
System
We've heard of E6850/E6550 'G0' ES samples doing awesome overclocks of 3.6ghz at stock vcore or high 540-550+ FSB. But there also seems to be 'G0' steppings that aren't as good and have FSB walls around 475-495FSB (could be motherboard/bios limit ? ). This E6750 'G0' I'm testing is one of those more average ones. This E6750 'G0' stepping seems to behave like my Intel Core 2 Extreme X6800 L627A872 cpu on Asus P5K Deluxe maxing out FSB around 490-495FSB (bumping CPU PLL volts allowed 500FSB to just get in) with similar vcore to clock speed points at 3600Mhz at 1.43-1.45v and 3800Mhz at 1.5-1.55v and both run very cool even with high vcore. The E6750 'G0' does run exceptionally colder though. With PECI enabled in bios, the E6750 as reported by AI Suite is running cooler and is within 4-8C of coretemp 0.94 reported temps. With PECI disabled, it's reported in AI Suite to be 10-12C hotter than coretemp 0.94 reported temps. . |

Swapped in 92x38mm Delta 120cfm fan to cool the memory via a rheobus fan controller ![]() Here's where I ended up @665.8Mhz 5-6-5-9 6-35-8-6-8 at 2.55v which is the highest memory frequency I've done to complete Super Pi 32M on any motherboard. | Administrator | Re: E6750 'G0' 8x333FSB + Asus P5K Deluxe Quest to hit 4002Mhz Found i could memtest86+ v1.70 if i pushed the CPU PLL voltage in bios from 1.6v to 1.8v (max).
