Evening all,

I tried to go to sleep tonight and just lay there, so thought I'd post some benchmarks from last weekend up, took this celeron 347 out of my media centre in a recent upgrade and it turned out to be a reasonable chip,

This cpu did 5.5ghz under water cooling swiftech setup @ 1.8vcore, sat idle about 55 degrees.

Benching Setup:

Asus P5K Deluxe (vcore/vdimm mod)
Celeron 347 C1 revision
Cellshock C4 PC8000
FX5500 pci
OCZ GameXStream 700W
Kayl B-2 Tube + dice

Decided to get it under DICE and it yielded reasonable validations.

Validation, 270 x 23 = 6215mhz

This was done with 1.85 vcore, 1.55 vmch, 1.2 vsb, 1.8 vpll, everything else auto, everything unessential in bios disabled.

This seems to be on par with where it should be to maybe tip 7ghz on LN2, next weekend me and tuchan are doing LN2 3d and wprime runs and might throw this chip in for a quick 30 minute session to see what its capable of. I'd be hoping for high 6's low 7's.

Pentium D clocking is quite fun, just raise volts and increase fsb and your there, no messing around!

well i think its a little way off, vcore might be the problem, as james mentioned to me vcore might be a problem as OVP stops me going above 1.89~ on my p5k deluxe, hopefully either someone comes up with a ovp hack for the p5k in the next week or we run it in tuchans new gigabyte board that does about ~2 vcore.

i think ill just be doing validation under ln2 on the 347 as ln2 costs alot and these pentium d's EAT the ln2 and e6850 aquamark and qx6700 wprime are on the top of my list

Ln2 i read last night on XS forums that 1 litre only last around 2 minutes is this correct??? if so it would cost you a Fortune to run it

i dont think itll eat that much, but it wont be easy on the ln2, ill just be putting it in, getting max validation as quick as possible, and getting it out =)

If your doing Ln2 next weekend i should send up my celeron 440 up i got it to 4090Mhz on Phase cooler its seems to be hitting a fsb wall as the 100% overclock was pretty minimul vcore...you might get #1 on hwbot with it as only needs a few hundred more MHZ to get there ..

ah thanks hori but i think 20L will go quick, i want to do e6850 aquamark/pifast/cpuz runs, qx6700 wprime runs, celeron 347 cpuz runs! thats 20L of ln2 right there EASY!
