I have the same problem as basco: proven 225+ bclk capable 920(+all other rigs) cannot work properly on 220+ bclk @ R3E 0602. 218 bclk seems fine; 219 bclk needs >100 PCIE; 220+ bclk simply does not work. CPU basically works at 220+ and does not suddenly become unstable, and CPU performance(e.g. flops) seems normal. But it seems that GPU<->CPU bandwidth is corrputed: lagging graphics even in BIOS; observed graphics glitches in Windows(2D, not dare to try 3D); GPU<->Host bandwith test fails(succeed at 219 or lower). My creative X-Fi PCI soundcard does not seem to work properly at 220+ either. (clock/voltage below are not accurate) These settings are >10 hours LinX stable for bclk 219. Why don't you try first with lower CPU multi, just to be sure. And try with higher IOH voltage, as you say you have CPU <-> GPU lag and corruption. Here are mine settings for 220 and 240 BCLK for some reference. |

Would be an exception, even 32nm new CPUS /Westmere / are having some probs reaching that , AFAIK. I am being taken down by my memory. I got Patriot 6GB 1600 8 8 8 24 that run 10 10 10 28 at this speed . Then I got second hand Corsair XMS that got specs 7 7 7 20 @1,9V at 1600 /Elpida chips , MP / I guess I ll have to try this kit ... |

| By famich I have tried before some "old" DDR3 kits that require 1.9V (link).
Maybe you too won't be needing such high voltage like I didn't need it. Just to remind you: vDIMM must not exceed 0.5V from VTT, so you don't forget when playing with high voltage memory. |

Thanks, interesting reading while working - that rule I do know, thanks anyway!!! will report back...just a quick remark: managed to ge to 219 BCLK, 220 will require some fine adjusting of the mem timings, running the Corsair XMS at 8 8 8 28 at 1,71 VDIMM at 219 BCLK. |
