Yeah Blitz series feature is 2 phase DDR2/DDR3 so I'm sure the Blitz Formula has it as well

So if at all possible, it would be nice if you could remove those heat spreaders and see if has D9 DDR3 or still Z9's? Since you got them from Tony @OCZ, I really wonder if its not "true retail" as yet.

I don't think I'll be removing the heatspreaders but will ask Tony as to if it's true retail kit.

Thanks... it's just the plain Blitz Formula that I'm after info on

The one in the middle column here (you posted this link when you mentioned the 2 kinds in your first post) http://www.asus.com/news_show.aspx?id=7716... afaik it's the one without the waterblock on it, and should have 2 phase ddr power.

eva, so far both Kinc's early experience and what bingo13 says seem to indicate that crosslinx isn't working right on this board. i.e., it still performs like 16x + 4x. If that's the case then my interest in it has gone down by a factor of 10. P5K prem might end up being the ticket for cheaper...still would like to see a test of that nature from you though.

Yeah read bingo13's posts on the matter... even if not for crosslinx, the blitz has alot more voltage options to offer.. i think more than P5K Premium as well ??

Socket area is neat too. It's just annoying that I have to be stuck two chipset generations in the past if I wanna run CrossFire, ya know? :-/

I still love the Commando for ocing, don't get me wrong. So much fun to have all that 3.4v of power right in BIOS.

A P35 refresh of it is what I've been waiting forever for. Yet if it ends up being >250 USD, forget it.

I have been working a lot on my soldering lately...
