Thats what Ive been thinking. I will try prime 95 then.
Also, is it really necesary to use 1.33 nb and FSB 1.24 for 400 FSB? Well, I will check.
Thanks eva.

Ok, I tried with Prime 95 25.5v a and error appears at 11 minutes aprox.
Tried again on orthos and error appears on 1.2 minutes.
Will try Uppering the voltage (vDIMM) but it shouldnt be neccesary.

Asus Blitz Formula 1205 vs 1402 bios

Just flashed my Asus Blitz Formula from 1205 to 1402 official bios http://dlsvr01.asus.com/pub/ASUS/mb/...ula/BF1402.zip with E8500 already installed. Using in bios EzFlash and USB drive the flash was successful with no problems

Noticed to changes in bios from 1205 to 1402 bios.
  1. 400FSB Strap added to 1402 must be for QX9770
  2. CPU ratio no longer has AUTO and Manual selection - it's just one setting which you can select ratios for AUTO to 9.5x in N/2 increments while I have my E8500 installed. AFAIK, N/2 cpu multiplier support was added in 1302 bios and higher
  3. The memory timings section now shows what the auto values are set as horizontally across the screen - must of flowed on down from what I saw in Maximus board bioses
  4. Transaction Booster levels increased. 1205 bios enabled showed only level 0-1, while 1402 bios shows level selections between 0-3
  5. Command rate shows 1N/2N instead of 1T/2T now

Ok, just tried it.
Dont know why, but Memory Bandwidth on Everest is being faster than with 1302 BIOS abouve by 100mb aprox.
Also, remember not to load an OC profile when changing this BIOS because it will say CMOS cheksum error.

Its working good.
See ya

Re: Asus R.O.G. Blitz Formula SE (DDR2) / Blitz Extreme (DDR3) - 2 phase DDR preview

I didn't noticed the bandwidth boost but notice that takes a bit more volts on mem to hit same clocks as before particularly on 1:1 divider - so could be Asus latest bios tightened things a bit more.

I flashed my Blitz Extreme from 0904 to 1005 bios and broken my old FSB wall of 485FSB. 526-530FSB easily did 32M which means Blitz Extreme can be a candidate for phase change cooling now I'd think
