Asus sent me the latest Asus P6T6 WS Revolution 0609 beta bios for Core i7 980X Gulftown support last week and days ago the 0609 official bios was released. I think both are same bioses if you check MD5 hashes.

• 0609 official bios (i think it's same as beta not entirely sure but both have same MD5 hash). Change log isn't as detailed as beta bios:
  • Add microcode for Gulftown CPU
• 0609 beta - pre-public beta for Intel Core i7 Extreme 980X Gulftown support (confirmed myself it works for my 980X B1 Step 2 cpu). Change log reads:
  • Enable support for HDD above 2.2TB in size under AHCI mode.
  • Improve "DRAM Frequency" item for Xeon W35xx series CPU.
  • Fix CPU ratio adjustment function fail under Turbo V.
• 0001 beta [mirror] - disable the CPU Turbo power limit
