Well, i didnt vmod it in the comp, and besides the RAM was horrible so i didnt concentrate on clocking it high. I official dislike this board, based on my competition experience with it. It was flakey, and has sucky access around the CPU socket. Anyway, you'll hear more about it later because i've won one as a prize so ill be giving it a thrashing with the Kingston 1333MHz RAM. |

Who knows, with only 1.5hrs of actually trying to use it, its hard to tell what sucked most. Also i dislike how the new Asus boards tell me "CPU Voltage Error" or "CPU Fan Error" while posting just cos i have high volts or no fans. No options i could find to turn that crap off. I liked the Blitz Extreme very much though, and i think that'll be my next purchase. |

The Blitz has it too..... ![]() Another thing i noticed with both the P5K3 and the Blitz was the RAM didnt like the performance boosting options enabled at all, no matter what clocks. Presume the problem is the RAM, not the boards. |

| Re: Asus P5K3 Deluxe Review By T_M The OverVoltage/No-Fans messages go away if you set the corresponding V/RPM reports @ Hardware Monitor to "N/A" / "Ignored"
{ haven't tested that yet, wasn't needed but that's they way they went off in every Asus C2D board I had } By T_M The "Transaction Booster" settings depend a lot on FSB, FSB/DRAM Ratio ( RAM Divider ), RAM Frequency, the memory itself, the Voltages supplied to NB/SB/PLL.
Works fine on my board ( with BIOS 0501 Enabled options were 0 and 1, both working ) [ with the latest BIOS we have 0,1,2,3 , haven't tested this BIOS thoroughly yet ] |
