about DRAM Static Read Control,i've noticed that when having it set to Auto (Transaction Booster also set to Auto),i get better results in memory benchmarks in Everest,the biggest difference appearing at memory read where it's about 800 points(8050 vs 7250/auto vs disabled).i also gain about 0.4 seconds at spi 1m.is there any reason why i should have it disabled?will it affect the o/c potential of my memory(tracers 8500)?ram works at 400mhz 1:1,3-4-3-8.

yes Static read AUTO better memtest bandwidth ... disabled you might be able to clock memory higher

I have an opportunity to buy E6850 "ES" G0 which did 4.0ghz 1.55v orthos stable ..
So my qustion is about bios problem .... with ES cpus ..

How long will asus support this ES cpus

I have Asus P5K DLX ...

, really starting to get my life together again....its been a long year so far.
Going to Sydney/Gold coast at the end of the month for a slight break from work and catch up with my family. Probably going to sort out a new PC once I get back. If anyone has any mobo's/ram/cpu/gfx...well any decent hardware for sale PM me

hey leca...alot of pretty decent hard probably will be dumped by OCAU'ers soon i.e. if if you can find a gem E6600/E6700 batch for <240-300 respectively or grab E6750/E6850 2nd hand once some folks decide Q6600 is what they want and start dumping E6750/E6850 - well we can also be hopeful
