OK some more results. I changed the RAM from the yellow slots to the orange slots. Didn't appear to change anything. I also played with Drive/Drive Data settings as per eva2000's suggestions. There are the results. Code: Drive Data Drive Errors 01 - -00% - 724 01 - -15% - 628 01 - -30% - 606 01 - -50% - 752 02 - -30% - 710 03 - -30% - 702 04 - -30% - 720 05 - -30% - 786 06 - -30% - 870 07 - -30% - 540 08 - -30% - 574 09 - -30% - 674 10 - -30% - 902 11 - -30% - 10240 12 - -30% - 12288 13 - -30% - 11264 14 - -30% - 12288 15 - -30% - 50176 Only question I have is, do these settings have a relationship? Will a different combination yeild a different result? I really cbf testing them all if thats not how it works. Thanks for your help so far guys. |

Yes Drive/Drive data have relation ship... some ram even BH-5 can error out at stock regardless of vdimm applied on DFI NF4 with wrong drive/drive data strengths. It's like a jig saw puzzle you need the right fit for each ram/cpu combination since the cpu memory controller differs from cpu to cpu ![]() Different DFI bioses will also sometimes change the needed drive/drive data strength so would need to retest those combinations again. Don't forget about TREF value too |

Computer has been stable all day, apart from HL2 which is still screwing up. I'm starting to believe that its a game fault as thats the only thing that plays up now. How do I test which TREF value I should be using eva? |
