OK some more results.

I changed the RAM from the yellow slots to the orange slots. Didn't appear to change anything.

I also played with Drive/Drive Data settings as per eva2000's suggestions. There are the results.

So with these results the ideal setting is Drive of 07, with Data Drive of -30% which gives me 540 errors.

Only question I have is, do these settings have a relationship? Will a different combination yeild a different result? I really cbf testing them all if thats not how it works.

Yes Drive/Drive data have relation ship... some ram even BH-5 can error out at stock regardless of vdimm applied on DFI NF4 with wrong drive/drive data strengths. It's like a jig saw puzzle you need the right fit for each ram/cpu combination since the cpu memory controller differs from cpu to cpu

Different DFI bioses will also sometimes change the needed drive/drive data strength so would need to retest those combinations again.

Don't forget about TREF value too

Computer has been stable all day, apart from HL2 which is still screwing up.

I'm starting to believe that its a game fault as thats the only thing that plays up now.

How do I test which TREF value I should be using eva?
