man this is ridiculous... it's not even 100% stable at 2700mhz at 1.37vcore... isn't that REALLY ****??? and amazingly, it's 2970mhz 100% stable (well, at least stressCPU that is) at 1.64vcore... TALK ABOUT VOLTAGE SCALING... still temps are MEGA STUFFED... the IHS is coming off for sure... (as in, after i get my 3rd chip from the next shipment and finalize which one to keep) actually, something tells me contact REALLY is stuffed... even at 1.37vcore, 2600mhz, which is what i left it to burn in overnight still reached 42 degs... i'm going to take off the block and check how the arctic silver has spread out (or if not at all)... to get an indicatio on the level of contact... if the contact is good, then i'm seirously doubting the quality of the IHS bond... T_M - i mentioned my friends "paid me"... hehe... pay me $500 and you are definitely my friend edit2: i think i'll leave it to burn in at 2952mhz, 1.61vcore today... seems to be a walk in the park for this chip... load temps are still 55 tho... hahah... i even sustained 2997 for a little while, but the nasty temperature made it fail. on the other hand, 1.64vcore allowed 3003mhz until around 57 before failing... |

I would like to add to the opty frenzie, but Plus sent my 150 the slowest fn way possible. Maybe on Monday or Tuesday I can start to contribute. Cant wait to show off some Tasmanian temps. |

By Butters It was hitting 57 during prime when I got up earlier
room temp has increased a bit I think Primed overnight for 10+ hours small FFT's fine 2600MHz with default vcore edit: I'm pretty sure it's heat limiting me at 1.45v it could run stresscpu/occt for a while before my temps got too hot and windows shutdown |
