Thanks for the update eva, it seems that quite a few of these CPU's are fairly good.....but arg they run way to hot and need lots of V's

I need to get some money together before I miss out on a good opteron

oh well.....at this rate probly won't be able to pick one up for about a month, damn life/food

G'day ppl, I'm about to delve into the A64 world and I've a thought that's been troubling me ever since I heard about the IHS. Before, when using thermal paste, you'd simply spread it over the core, but now with IHS how does one apply the paste? More specifically, how much is required?
