Thanks MrRevhead, I am not as knowledgeable as I was with the first X2 3800's though I do remember that some '06 chips were getting 3GHz easy , I also forgot about the "T" and "N" wafers, looks like I need to do a catch up |

Hi guys I'm only now starting to have any luck with my new X2 3800+ S939 but a crappy 250Mhz OC is just a time waster As MrRevhead already knows my stepp'n an't the best ![]() Best I've got so far, both cores completely stable at stock voltage 2.25Gig I can bootup at 2.6Gig no problems but its flaky as hell... 2.55Gig feels fine in all app's but dose not last long on PI or prime ![]() Anyone got some input? I've never had this much trouble OC a CPU EVER Best thing thats helps so far is a fan over the PWMs as the temps were get'n out of control Thanks LukeZen |

BUT! Keep in mind I was running an A8N32-SLI which is a hard mobo to OC with.
