Each to their own i guess ,it's like the holden v ford saga, each have their pro's and con's, their lovers and haters! , but i'm not looking for a system to bench or o/c though, it was to replace my main work PC that does a lot of multitasking and it was starting to get a bit to slow so i decided to go to a dual core to help speed up things, so o/c and benching isn't something important that i am looking for in this next system I still haven't made a purchase yet and still looking into different systems and setups, i've looked at the X2 4400+ in a SN26P SFF and that looks to be ok, just have to make a decision soon as i am restricted to this dam slow laptop and its getting beyond a joke to work with the programs and stuff i need to! |

Yeah i used to be of the same opinion until i was forced into having to use one, and they do have there places and it just so happens it falls into what i require now, the way my work desk is setup & situated i simply have not got space for another full size or even midi size tower (Unless i get rid of my stacker setup...not a chance!) so a SFF is really the only option, and as i said it's not for o/c or benching and won't be W/C so i don't need something that is running extreme speeds and breaking records So long as it does what i need it to, which is multitasking / graphical work, and does it well thats all i care about I have been reading up on the X2 4400+ and i think this is what i will go for, seem's to get good reviews and should have enough 'grunt' for what i need. |
