Breaking through the DFI clouds here again to do a test on Asus and UTT RAM......

One of the mobo limitations is vdimm of 3V and CPU Vcore of 1.55V but results are still very good.

I got higher scores with UTT RAM than TCCD. I also got a higher CPU clock with UTT......seems that it different RAM acts differently with my setup or i wasn't doing something right with other RAM...... I do firmly believe that i need 1.6/1.65V for stable 2.65/2.7GHz CPU performance.......Asus works great with dividers no questions asked.....even half multies A_G claimed don't work with A64......

One more thing is those temps....they are just awesome......idling temp is 31C and 39C under load....chipset is firm at 27C after a wacked on the Zalman passive heatsink on NB chipset......silent and cool

Dude, thats pertty nice on UTT with only 3.0v but half multies don't work proper on any A64. They work but the ram is not longer 1:1. Its just the RAM dividers are only whole numbers so it has to use a "divider" on the ram so it isnt at the clock you think it is.

i would have to adjust it in tweaker as bios is limited in options...in bios you can only adjust TRC, TRFC, TWR, TRTW...will give the other settings a crack through tweaker....are those super tight timings

i am under impression that if i use say 8.5x divider.....i will do the math

8.5*200/133 = 13
8.5*200/166 = 11

At 2600MHz you will have RAM running at

200MHz with 266 divider
236.36MHz with 333 divider.......right

are you saying it will be actually working at some other speeds or?

200x8.5 with 133 divider: RAM = 130.769231 CPU = 1700Mhz
200x8.5 with 166 divider: RAM = 154.545455 CPU = 1700Mhz

302x8.5 with 166 divider: RAM = 236.454545 CPU = 2601Mhz

ok so we are on the same page....that is correct memory reading for 8.5 divider
