I too have a pending RAM choice to make. I have a X2 3800+ and want a good 2GB kit that will allow me to overclock. I was looking at the 2X1GB OCZ EB Platinum kit - is this a good match for the CPU? I will probably be using the DFI SLI-DR board. While I really want to overclock my CPU as much as possible, if there is a cheaper option than this RAM I might go for it, as $500 is quite a bit for me. Any thoughts appreciated |
