Hey guys

looking for some comparison between the two (besides the price). I WILL be overclocking it as hard as possible, where i was thinking the plat as it has the EB/lower latencies, but the gold is more available and cheaper ..... will i be better off waiting to get the platinum set rather than going to gold? or will i get the same performance trying to overclock them.

running AMD64 x2 4400+
DFI nf4 UT SLI-DR expert
OCZ powerstream 520W.

opinions? experiences? requests for more info? please hit me back.

Cant seem to find anyone review @ XS for the XTC, I was soooooooo close to buying it (a bees **** ) but finally went for a proven product that seems to have very consistent OC results, unlike some of the hand picked samples that are reviewed all the time

Oh nearly forgot I ended up buying the G.Skill PC4000 2x1GB HZ

yea i'm really not impressed by the XTC spreaders on the new gold ram .... so i decided that and EB threw me over to buy platinum. So i put my order in and low and behold, not available ... on backorder ... not available until february (cough cough don't believe eta's) ... so yea, stuffed i am.
