ouch sorry to hear.... i rma'd scum's ballistixs and opted for a refund minus 20% restocking fee... as they wanted to replace with same modules again or 2GB PC3200 part which seemed pointless

after reading that others are on their 3rd or 4th rma I think I will opt for the refund as well. dont want to have to rma again after 3 months because the ram dies again

now to find a replacement 2 gb kit.

i have a 2gb pair of Ballstix that died on me and have been returned under warranty.

I ran 240 fsb and they still only hung in there for 2 months.

I think they are going to be replaced with tracers, which is unfortunate because from everbodies experience there will be a good chance of them going for awhile then failing again.

Do people find the LED on the tracers annoying and is there any way to turn it of that doesn't invalidate warranty?

I've just got a new set of Ballistix Tracer's from Nintek. They replaced my normal Ballistix with the Tracer's after my 2nd return of the Ballistix. Still errors in memtest, but I'll fiddle around with some of the memory settings that Daniel from Nintek gave me and I'll see how I go.

EDIT: Oh and the LEDs on the Tracer's are SEEXXXXXXXYYYYYY!!!! I hope I don't have to RMA these ones cos I love the LEDs.
