I'm waiting on a similar setup too. DFI nf3 ultra-d and opt 146. And speaking of G.Skill memory, have a look at this 2-3-2-5 2GB kit from Mittoni for $365. That looks like one of the best 2GB kits around right now, (slightly OT but meh). edit: just saw your post in the other thread  |

| By Fred Hmm so maybe the ZX would be better ??, sooo many to choose from now which is great, even the Ballistic is IMHO reasonably priced

| By Kenetixx I tried everything to get them stable, finally returned them for a restocking fee.
This is the only thread I could find link at the dfi forums but there was one other. these were my chips  this is my g.skill UCCC, not as snappy as the crucial but ok value  |

Wouldn't believe it. Got home from work all ready to put this ram into my board and test it. And the bloody pager goes off and back to the office I go. Just waiting for a phone call now as my accounts have been locked out but my laptop not syncing properly. Arrggghhhh !!!!! My still give it a go tonight depending on what time I finish up here. I sure hope that I don't get the same stability problems as Fred, on my NF3 board when it comes. |

OK... Just got home and have swapped out my BH5's for the value selects. I've managed to get them to 245mhz at 3338 at 2.8v (BH5's stable at 236mhz) cpuz validation here unbuffered memory run  I think it's more my cpu cpu limiting me further. I ran about 20 minutes of memtest without errors. Have to leave it at that tonight as I need to get to work early tomorrow. |
