INTEL CEO Paul Otellini reckons the recession's gonna be a stinker in the US and A. Otellni tipped up at the Web 2.0 Summit claiming it was good to get out of the office. "It’s a respite from watching the stock market crash every day," he said. The recession wil get worse, he warned. “This is the deepest one I’ve seen in my lifetime. All the smart people that I talk to tell us the US is in for a two-to-three quarter recession,” he said. “We’ll see much larger unemployment a year from now.” As we've seen in these pages, tech firms are axing workers left right and centre....
