| By laydback I think you'll notice that MANY LGA boards use very low-profie caps near the socket. They almost never interfere with HSF's, Waterblocks or evaps, so there really hasn't been an issue.
Look at a side on view of an LGA board with caps that close to the socket, and add on the height of the IHS on P4's and you'll realise why ![]() ---dens |
