GTL refs did come into play today getting ram timings stable, but after a day of trying everything I'm guessing the problem I've run into is the card's OCP. Symptons are a sudden blank screen then no signal. Either that or the PSU. I've changed to different sockets on the PSU(Modular) and lowered voltages from 1.35v to 1.3v. This seems to have done the trick.

Funny that NB voltages also have an effect on this problem as well.

Must get around to finding my stable overclock tomorrow.



Overclock of CPU/Memory makes very little difference to 3dmark 03. I like 03

The other way round for 05.

look at your PCIe frequencies if this option is enabled .. maybe not with a PCIe2 card.

Was just about to reply, but noticed the Soi dogs had decided to spread the contents of our bin across the road. Just had a run in with them .lol. Can hear the Thai's sighing at their mad foreign neighbour.

Messed with the PCIe in the early days with this board. Undesirable results pretty quick, so have them locked off now. May have a revisit though.
