i'd be interested to see how the core and mem clocks on the 8800gts affect performance. ie when showing the core overclocks on a 7800gtx card on a graph, the graph looks like a staircase. There are set points where the performance suddently jumps. Is this the same with the 8800 range?

yeah it's same for 8800 range with most manufacturer's provided bios in that 8800 series GPU and Mem clock generator works in steps of mhz not individual mhz increments
