Not much of a gamer myself, but since everyone talking about Crysis demo thought I'd give it a run.

With 640MB Gainward 8800GTS stock @648/1620/2016 - some reason GPU-Z reports shader at 1637mhz but Rivatuner 2.06 says 1620mhz.

Yeah people certainly have been banging on about Crysis all year. Interesting results, add in some high AA/AF and this game looks like it would really drain the frames.

Also you didn't happen to make a run with everything at stock to see how much of an impact that had on the frames did you?

Just copied and pasted this from my OCAU post:

CPU: E6600 @ 3.0GHz (333 x 9)
RAM: 2GB DDR2-1111 5-5-5-10
Graphics: MSI 8800GTS 640MB 575/850 (stock)
Res: 1680*1050
Settings: All on HIGH, No AA/No AF - Average: 23.89fps
OS: Xp 32bit
Driver: ForceWare 163.44 (Updating to latest driver ATM)

The game seems to run quite well and is perfectly playable even though the benchmark reports such **** FPS.

EDIT: With new 163.71 driver Average FPS: 23.99 ie. new drivers make FA difference.

EDIT2: Bumped clocks on GPU to 650/900 - Average FPS: 26.67
