I've noticed some other wierd behaviour... nothing earth shattering, but definitley curious. On my XP Pro benching partition with everything un-necessary stripped (12 Services total) I get ~24.2 Secs @ 3.6GHz. With identical bios settings and on my standard XP MCE partition with 35 Processes running I score ~23.6 seconds. Is there some service that wPrime needs for optimal running that I'm disabling on my benching partition? |

I just uploaded a score to Hwbot.org but its not listed, everything was accepted during the upload. Does the major scoreboard take time to update for everyone?

Do you mean the scoreboard here at i4memory? I've added some code 2 days ago so that the scoreboard should update within a minute after online submission, but appearently it doesn't work. oops. |

@eva/rod I don't really mind it being off by a few MHz. @rich Not too much I can do 'cause that's what the CPU is doing... By JAFFA That's unusual, I'm not too familiar with MCE.

Ok I've packaged CPUz with the latest version. Just go to Install Libraries> CPUz.exe, wait a few seconds (or minutes sometimes - CPUz outputs alot of information to parse). Then you'll have much more detailed hardware info. If it doesn't provide any extra hardware info, then CPUz gave a bad clock speed (i.e. > 20000 iirc), just restart wPrime - as one time CPUz gave me a clockspeed of 700,000MHz on my CPU and around 50,000MHz FSB when I first start it up (but fixes after a refresh) so just put a check in to make sure. Here's an example score: http://www.wprime.net/cgi-bin/score.exe?id=952 Shows, fsb, core, rev, vcore (albiet a bit off :P), mem timings and clock, etc. |
