[Team.AU] CollectiveLAN - West Australia It was a stormy day lightening and heavy ran Frupert and I were benching at the local collective lan party with 30L of ln2. Man it was humid and we had puddles on the boards. SO in between shuts downs and soak up we didn’t have much luck with the QX9770 that cold bugged at -106c. The QX9650 was very average around 5.1-5.2ghz stable so didn’t spend much time with that CPU. The E8500 did ok on GIG X48T was showing nice fsb speeds very happy. I conformal coated the motherboards before hand which worked saved us from killing any hardware that day. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() CPUZ @ 5656Mhz http://valid.x86-secret.com/show_oc.php?id=369821 ![]() 1Mb SPi 8.323 sec @ 5561MHz ![]() 32mb Spi 13mins 35sec @ 5429Mhz ![]() 3dmark 06 20,900marks @ 5429Mhz ![]() 3dmark05 32,629marks @ 5346Mhz ![]() wprime 497sec 1024mb @ 5520Mhz |

Good effort guys ![]() Kayl, you could have saved yourself a lot of hassle with some airflow around the CPU pot. Without fans all the water vapour from the LN2 is floating straight down and condensing on your socket area. Im regularly benching in high humidity so am using a floor standing fan to blow across my whole setup, which keeps the condensation to lower levels. |

| Re: [Team.AU] CollectiveLAN - West Australia By chispy Thanxs chispy, it was a stock board, except I took the heat pipes and
thermal pads off, added artic silver and pcb lacer then replaced heat pipes. The X48T had a IHS cover on the NB core which looked cool. By youngpro
thanxs james, couldn’t have done it with out the bios tip mate ![]() Would be good if we could do a few more demos get more ppl interested. By downforce
