Starting to play with Ivy Bridge, and I must say, I like it!
This is my first chip, and it's no where near as strong as some others, but you can still have some fun with it.

Max CPU-z 6574Mhz (all be it for about 5sec before it black screens)

These are really just some fast benchmarks at the start of my testing, but it gives you an idea of what even an average chip will do.


I'll start with 3D Mark 01, as these days it really is a CPU test, I can still recall the day I hit 10K for the first time!! And how there was very few in the word that had done that at the time.
Now I'm a little higher than 147K with better chips over 160K!

hey Dean nice results... i haven't played with ivy bridge yet myself, but see max wprime frequencies are higher than super pi 32m, does that mean there's still room for your max frequency for 32m super pi ?

ah nice, great start Dean, im digging that 01 actually, when we first did our 01 run before giga had the 01 bios worked out it at 146k and that was at 6500mhz+

Something was playing up in 32M, and as I was just getting a feel for the setup, I moved onto another benchmark.

Will go back to it and sort it out over the next few weeks.
