hmmm The Ch5 is used in the VX32/4000 and it seems to clock higher than the Bh5 with less volts. The RedLine series also use the CH5 over Bh5. The results vary a little depending on chipset and settings, but id say either on a good pcb will do. What TCC5 have you got, wanna trade for some Value VX Bh5? |

I got some OCZ PC4200EL Platinum Rev1.1's 1gig kit as replacement for my old OCZ PC4000EL Gold 2. x 256mb kit which ran like a bag of shat on DFI ( hates Hynix IC's ) Hence my sticking with OCZ for future ram purchases. They were most excellent to RMA the old crapola and give me this sweetness as replacements ( they dont do 2x256 kits no more so upgraded me to 1Gig kit - cheers Sean, John and Markus I've had a bit of a play around with these TCC5's and they seem to be quite stable @ 305 in memtest @ 2.5-3-3-8 1T and @ 312 @ 2.5-4-4-8 1T. Im yet to get them stable at those speeds in windows yet. Much over 292 and I get BSOD'd I like the CH modules though, used to have some Kingston Valueram CH-5 based and they ran sweet at 235fsb with 3.1v on my old vdimm modded NF7-S. Was just curious as to how the UTT based CH goes these days. I been out of the loop on ram for too long. DFI bios scared me when I booted in and saw all the adjustables....... |

Hi, post no. 1 for me I've been playing with my new OCZ VVX for about a week now and i'm currently stable in memtest (test #5) @ 255 2-2-2-5 1T with 3.55v. Pretty impressed with those results! ![]() I might take it down to 250 @ 2-2-2-5 with 3.4v for everyday use though. I love these VVX sticks but it seems they are a little hit and miss in terms of results people are getting. |

It is known to kill UTT when using the 4V jumper due to an issue when switching back to pins 1-2 of the jumper block : http://www.i4memory.com/showthread.php?t=440 However the 414 beta BIOS's apparently fixed the issue. |
