Well, my FX-53 finally arrived after being on backorder since 7th August, and I am more than happy ![]() Firstly, I threw in my Mushkin BH-5, but it craps out at 222 @ 2-2-2-6 due to the lack of vdimm on the board. So I threw in my Geil PC4000 (2.5-4-4-8) and threw it straight up to 250x8. Impressed to say the least. Stable as a rock and good memory bandwidth to boot. Once I work out my best clock speed at 250FSB, I will post benchies |

| By eva2000 Yeah, Venus 12. The LS is currently at PC Range and I should have a replacement soon-ish
And yeah, no insane voltages just yet ![]() Gotta work out some things with this 939 board. A few ioptions I am not used to seeing, and as a result, I can't seem to get over 2.5GHz |

Thanks for the links eva, will give them a good read ![]() BTW, here is a sandra mem @ 250x10, 2.5-4-4-8. This was with the LDT x 4x. With it set at 5x scores were actually lower by 30-40 points ![]() Oh, also, the SuperPi 1M time is a surprise considering I am using 2.5-4-4-7. If I can get me some tighter timings at 250FSb, it should be able to achieve sub 30s ![]() 3rd screenie is Sandra buffered, same settings as the unbuffered test ![]() I'm off to read those threads and see if this geil will run 2.5-3-3-6. |

Ahh, my eyes... I wish people would believe in paragraphs when they use that much text Thanks for the link, seeing as the only real difference between the Rev 2.0 and Rev 1.02 is the "Official support" for the locks and a WiFi module ![]() BTW, this thing feels and seems alot faster.. Installed WinXP in 15 minutes including drivers |
