Grabbed this pair tonight, was offered a deal i couldn't refuse from a local Looks like ive found a replacement for the 4000vx Started off in my usual fashion: Pulled out 4000vx and chucked in these BH-5's without touching BIOS. Booted - yay Set BIOS to 1:1 @ 2-2-6-2-7-12-2-2-1-2 1T etc and MAL 6, RP 5.0 5 loops #5 3.2V - 250MHz 3.3V - 252MHz 3.4V - 256MHz 3.5V - 258MHz 3.6V - 260MHz dodgy results that varied each bootup swapped sticks in the slots 3.6V - 261MHz dodgy results that varied each bootup 3.7V - 261MHz dodgy results that varied each bootup 3.6V + MAL 7 - 265MHz obviously MUCH more testing to be done, but i'd say this is a good start: 265MHz @ 2-2-6-2-7-12-2-2-1-2 1T rest all tight and MAL 7, RP 5.0 |

| By ArcTan i think it just needs tweaking, but as you can see just setting MAL 7 got me from <260 to 265 at the same voltage.
oh, and all that testing was done at the 3120, i havent yet started playing with it to find the best. |
