| TEAM Xtreem UTT BH5 on Abit mobo
I figured this would be one of the best places to ask about this RAM I have 2x512mb of this TEAM UTT in my Abit NF7-S 2.0 with my XP-M 2500+ and a DDR Booster. I'm having real trouble running it at 230Mhz, even running 10.5 multi to avoid processor interferance. I have tried up to 3.6v with this RAM and I still come across errors fairly early on in windows memtest. I'm running the Black Mantaray XT D26 2T BIOS because this RAM wont do over 210 on 1T on this board, also the booster can only fit in the dual channel slot, so I have 2t and single channel :S so I want to know why it might be that I can't get 230Mhz stable even on 3.6v, running 2-2-2-11 timings by default, but I loostened to 3-4-4-11 and it still got errors, running 224*11.5 right now and it seems ok. But afaik UTT can do better than that, was hoping at least for 230 2-2-2-11 2T, not much to ask for really. Any ideas? Thanks in advance |

I was thinking of getting some TEAM Xtreem Winbond BH5 UTT for my Abit AN7 Nforce 2 board... So, how about the OCZ Premier PC3200 1GB Kit from nintek? http://www.nintek.com.au/x/scripts/p...idproduct=3792 Atm, i dont want to upgrade my system fully yet... Im waiting for socket AM2, and 2-3 months after its release before I fully upgrade my system... Its just that I currently have a chance to upgrade my system RAM cheap... currently, its 2x512mb Hynix D43 (not factory matched, but I got a pair from the same batch and they run without problems together), these sticks dont want to do much more than 200mhz in my mobo at this time... |
