CPU temps we can comfortably get on both down below -40C with 1.55V+ in BIOS
But that doesnt give us the best clocks = cold bug

The Opteron if idling in windows at -0 to -5C would give the best screenshotable clock. That temp under load would also give the best benchable clocks.
To get that load temp we needed to idle at -20 to -25C on this 146 under that mount, with an in pot temperatire of -55 to -58C (thats how we were regulating temperature during benching).

Eva, i noticed in your Opteron only thread your score was lower than ours, yet supposedly your best opteron score which is on OCAU is above ours.
Is one a mistake?

damb guys that some nice benching.
pity about the cold bug so early in temps with the Opteron
the x2's are ment to run real real hot.
the old ln2 tube is doing great.

kayl, we found it REALLY easy to manage the temperature once we got our style down.
about 1"-2" acetone, then chuck in a small amount of DICE till that settles down, then just top up with a little DICE to taste (well.... temp).
we measured in-pot temp with my DMM and we found the corresponding chip temps for those pot temps, so then we could just monitor with hardware
