| Re: How to lap a heatsink. By graham_h The difference was rather modest, with only a 1-2C drop in load temps. Every little bit helps though and with other heat sinks this may vary.
Firstly thanks . If you're interested in getting absolutely the most out of you heat sink I'd say it's worth it but for general use, maybe not. That said though if you're running 24/7 overclocks then cooler is always better. It's a personal decision I suppose, I'll be lapping all of my heat sinks and CPUs from now on |
