Actually, having the insulation that slight bit loose around teh top was great for removing the tube. Normally i have a hell of a time removing the insulation when dissmantling because it is frozen solid to the surface of the tube and tears to pieces. This one just slid off at the end, and there was no condensation underneath immediately after ![]() No i didnt use the spacers. The foam crushed up nicely sealing well and also softened the mount on my bare die. Cant wait to try it with LN2 As for the PB's, note that this is the first DICE benching ive done with this FX naked, so cant really compare at this stage to the mousepot. |

Measuring the temps inside the tube would just result in giving DICE temps of around -65 to -70C, unless the probe touches a wall or the base in which case it would be more like -55 to -65C. I did at one stage measure the top of the tube and it read somewhere near -58C from memory. @ Scragley - i think so Lets sort out details closer to the time. BOC Gas and Gear on South Road can supply on the morning.Gee im damn tempted to get more DICE right now for tonight, but its a fair drive to the other side of town cos they're the only ones open after 5pm. |
