At home: 1600 x 1200 @ 100Hz on a pristine 21" DELL P1130 CRT (Sony G520 FD Trinitron tube).

CRT > LCD
Same for me

I've seen these monitors sell for such bargains on OCAU lately...under $300 for such an excellent screen is just awesome. I can't for the life of me figure out why someone would buy a mediocre 17" LCD over a high-end 21" CRT for the same money!!

If I ever had the opportunity to buy one that is'nt on the other side of the continent I would snap it up soooo fast

high end BIG crt > any LCD

On my crt Philips 201P I use 1600 x 1200 and higher for gaming.

My laptop Dell i930 I use the native res of 1920 x 1200.


Still waiting for an lcd 24" widescreen that has a responce time below 16ms.

I have to change my vote, I just got a new Sony 42 inch LCD Projection Monitor that looks well at 1280 x 780.



Damn flash spot



It's probably not as good as a normal LCD but it's got to be a TV too, but it's 100xs better than my 27 inch Wega TV.

but i've got my eyes set on a Polyview 19" wide 1440 x 900 . *looks at empty pockets* *cries*
