dinos sorry to go off topic, but i was just watching that goodgame episode, were the atomic guys helpful at all? something about the comment "were at 4.5ghz are we rapidly closing in on the wr?" doesnt instill me with alot of confidence? |

Setting the res certainly does make a difference for '03 at least. Reboot between each run DOES make a difference, and i swear by it. My tweaks include those in Eva's list, plus LOD and playing around with various other things. One thing to check out Dinos is flashing the BIOS of your card to higher clocks and at maximised ratio of GPU:Shader. As for pencil mods on the 8800 series, dont know for sure but i dont remember seeing any. They all involve VR |

you can pencil memory but 1000 you get best scores anything over is not really helping scores much. just cool that card down to 25c it will run like it has a voltmod |

After you run 2k1 and get a score, press the change button for selected tests, and uncheck all but one test eg: car high. Then just press run, and it will use your previous run, with the new score for that one test to work out a new score  Also LOD tweaks are supposed to gain you a bit |

basically you reduce the level of detail which helps graphics chug along quicker (NOT ALWAYS) it helps A LOT in Nature in '01  |
