Is a 5770 powerful then a 5850.

Just wondering since i killed the first card i had.


Didnt want overkill again so i thought ill give my shop there best shot at wot they had.
It is a Radeon 1gb 5770
1xdvi
2x hdmi
clock MHZ 850
Memory clock Mhz1200 total memory in badwidth in GBytes 78.8GBytes.

So in the scale of the Ati 5 series where am i?

So heres the difference and the cheapest online with out knowing what was wrong with computer was 180$ for a 5770 while the 5850 is 256bit Core Clock Speed(MHz) 765 Memory Clock Speed(MHz) 4500 Memory Bandwidth(GB/sec)

So if i had known id of gone there but whats the max resolution with my card?

i'd say you'll be fine up to 1920x1200, anything higher your looking into a 5870/5970's
