While going AWOL, I 'accidentally' passed my favourite mall here in Bangkok - Pantip Plaza and staring out with those puppy dog eyes were the new HD 3870 X2, several actually, so how could I refuse a Sapphire ![]() Here is a taste of the this new GPU, but due to travel commitments will try to show some results from the common suite of benchies. However, if there is something anyone wishes tried out, post away and we'll try to accomodate as best we can. ![]() Platform setup: Abit IP35-Pro - stock QX9650 @ 340x9 2x 1Gb Ballistic PC2-8500 Silverstone OP1000 Vapochill LS [AC] - stock Ambient temps 29C (84F) XP Pro SP2 ATI driver 8.1 Download Stock application and driver settings with no tweaks 3DM06 Link ![]() 3DM05 Link ![]() 3DM03 Link ![]() 3DM01 Link ![]() AQM3 ![]() EDIT: BIOS File Attached is the Default BIOS for both cores 0 & 1 ... Some quick pictures added, any others let me know and we will see how to get them up ![]() No worries ... those runs were all at stock, so no LOD - nothing. Issues seem to be a locked core at 860, same as the 3870 lock issue which was resolved with a new BIOS and the BIOS files are different sizes 43Kb and 62Kb for ID 0 & 1 as saved by ATIFLash... will have a look in these time permitting. |
