| Graphics settings = which do you prefer?
Hey guys, can't help but notice this sector of the forum is virtually inactive... so I'm seeing if this poll can wake some people up... OK, well, I've played most of the great looking games of the past year, including Doom 3, HL2, FarCry, Underground 2... and all have great graphics generally... But I'm interested to know what kind of settings you prefer. For some reason, I actually don't really like AA - I prefer the dotty sharpened feeling that high resolution gaming offers, and thus I never turn on AA... But I feel AF is quite good though - reduces blurring. So overall, personally, out of the 3 settings - RESOLUTION, ANTI-ALIASING, & ANISOTROPIC FILTERING, resolution does it for me in terms of personal perference. I know that realistically, you'd want a balance of all three, but I'd like to get some feedback on what ONE setting really makes the difference for you. What do you think? |

LOL, i love seeing photos of Eva's setups - they are wild and out of control heh. Im fastidious about cleanliness and order so i cant handle having things all over the place, particularly cabling. I cant think straight till its all in order. Back on topic, i dont really fiddle with anything. For my Gaming/Everyday OS i have everything on full detail, but only run 1024x768 for whaever im doing. I just do it for no reason. |

eva i'm assuming you have a room dedicated to your comp tinkering and stuff... so it's understandable if it's all over the place... but for me, my comp is on my room... and yeah, this is where i sleep, study, and play... so... i can't really have too much crap lying around... eheh that's my excuse for not owning 30gb of ram *cough* |
